**Beginner’s Tips – Crystals**
Crystals need to be recharged, at least in my opinion. The challenge is that many are charged best by sitting in full moonlight. And hauling all of them out each month can be both impractical and in many cases not possible.
Why not do a charge crystal. I use this quartz crystal pyramid. I have it tied to all the other items that i charge in the moon light. I have a citrine that is tied to those that solar charge. I plan to set up a obsidian to tie to the ones that recharge in the new moon energy.
Any Crystal can be set as the charge point, however I have found that pyramids and points work best for me. I also find that using crystals i associate with each of the energies i want to gather make it more effective.
Take a white thread for full moon, black thread for new moon, or red/yellow for solar energy. Wrap one end around the charge crystal three times counterclockwise. Take the other end and wrap it three times clockwise around what is to be connected to the charge crystal. Focus on an open connection allowing energy to flow from the charge crystal to the item. Let this sit tied together at least for a couple hours. Each time you look at them, focus on the bond forming between the two. Do not cut the cord. Carefully unwrap it and place it somewhere safe. Your altar, a poppet, a small bag, a herb doll.
