Witchstock V – A Reflection & Thank You

As Witchstock V comes to a close, the Alberta Witches Association wishes to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us this year.

This was a year of challenge and transformation — the year that would define the future of Witchstock and our community. What came together on that land, in spite of the rain and the cold, was nothing short of extraordinary.

To our executive team — thank you for your dedication, your vision, and your unshakable commitment to carrying this community forward.

To our community partners — Northern Alberta Kindred, Edmonton & Area Pagan Pride, and the Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada — your presence and support remind us that Witchstock is part of a greater tapestry of connection across Alberta and beyond.

To our volunteers, vendors, sponsors, musicians, and workshop providers — your contributions are the heartbeat of Witchstock, and none of this would be possible without you.

There were countless moments of magic, but one that stands out came from our Chief Operating Witch, Amie Clark:

“As I watched the true dark moon rise alongside Venus and Jupiter, I heard Jupiter’s song — a sound I have known since 2022. In it, I heard the heartbeat of our community. Each time we gather — at Witchstock, at Pagan Pride Days, at festivals across Alberta and beyond — that song grows stronger. And when my witch sister’s son, who rarely embraces anyone, wrapped his arms around me while children played freely around us, I knew: this is why we do this. To create a space where everyone belongs.”

Witchstock is, and will always be, more than a festival. It is a place of safety, gathering, love, and connection. It is family. It is home.

On behalf of the Alberta Witches Association, thank you for standing in circle with us. To every person who showed up, supported, worked, danced, sang, or simply held the energy — you are Witchstock. And we are endlessly grateful.
