**Elestial Quartz: The Soul Star Crystal**

Known to some as the “Soul Star Crystal,” Elestial Quartz is also sometimes called “Skeletal Quartz” due to its oddly concocted outer formations. Found in Brazil, Madagascar, Africa, and the United States, this crystal enhances intuition and removes psychic blockages. 

There is an immense, ancient power that resonates from every piece; hold it in your hands, close your eyes, and let your mind be silent. You will feel it, and for the clairaudient, you might even hear a sweet song, which has earned the stone its other nickname “Crystal of the Angels.”

Said to have been used long ago by the priestesses and priests of the vanished lands of Atlantis and Lemuria, Elestial Quartz is known to carry within it secrets and memories from other times, places, and perhaps even dimensions once forgotten. It is also believed to be able to connect to the Akashic Records.

When beginning to get to know such a powerful stone, it’s best to practice a grounding energy exercise with the Elestial and pair it with Garnet and Hematite. Together, these will form a small circle of energy that you can return to at any time when performing more complex, elevated workings.

And complex is merely an understatement in what you can do with Elestial Quartz! It has healing effects and can connect us to the Soul Star Chakra; it can, for some, aid in recall of past lives, and in dreamwork. 

It elevates the soul of the psychic and the mystic to extraordinary heights and, when used in combination with Shaman’s Dream Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Amethyst, and Moonstone (particularly the Black variety), along with a drop or two of vervain or mugwort, it has a remarkable affect on the soul in astral travel. Note: This is an intense experience and best done once one has taken the time to study the art, however—it is not an exercise for beginners!

For lucid dreaming, resting with an Elestial in your hands or under your pillow, while using a lavender spray or incense, is also beneficial, though like astral travel lucid dreaming is intense and should not be undertaken by the inexperienced without guidance or proper study.

As with all Quartz, Elestial is mostly associated with the Goddess of Earth, Gaia. There are also some who use it to access the Christ Consciousness, and these are both valid. However, it has been my personal gnosis to find Elestial Quartz works well in meditative workings with Hekate, Isis, Mary Magdalene, Rhiannon, Arianrhod, and Kassandra. Holding the Quartz while sitting comfortably by candlelight or during walking meditations under the moon tends to be of great benefit in hearing/sensing the Voices of these powerful Goddesses.
